Cabo Frio

Cabo Frio (Cold Cape) is located 159 km away from Rio de Janeiro. It is enclosed by the Atlantic Ocean and Araruama Lagoon.

Cabo Frio is the main tourism center of Região dos Lagos (Lakes' Region). The city's economy is mainly based on tourism.
