Camboriu City, Brazil
Praia Laranjeiras, Camboriu
Laranjeiras (Orange trees) - it is about 6 km to the south of the downtown and it's almost 1 km of extension, and has bars, restaurants and boat sails. Camboriu is famous for the cable car which (uniquely in the world) links two beaches. The city has a statue similar to the Cristo Redentor (Christ the Redeemer) in Rio de Janeiro, called Cristo Luz, but rather the one in Camboriu portrays Jesus with a broad-brimmed hat on his shoulder, which houses a spotlight that shines out to sea.
