The story follows my youthful romance in a Serbian village, the painful betrayal that unfolded while I served in the army in 1992, and my eventual flight to the United States to rebuild after political corruption cost me both love and land.

What I need now is a writer who can translate these memories into a compelling screenplay that stays true to the facts yet carries the emotional weight of the journey. Character depth and an authentic sense of time and place matter, but the heart of the film must be my personal emotional journey—culminating in a hopeful, inspiring ending that shows how I forged a new beginning in America.

You’ll sift through my recollections, structure them into acts, craft dialogue, and weave in the historical context of Serbia under Slobodan Milošević without letting it overshadow the intimate story. Expect candid interviews, reference materials from my years on the farm and in the army, and notes on the political environment that shaped the conflict.
