My name is Andrés, I run the blog cyberhuaca.com on personal finances for spanish speakers and give 1 - 1 personal finances courses. After a bunch! of years working for corporations I decided to take this new path; started by creating the blog myself, but it´s time to make it more professional, both in the look and the functionality of it.
I need:
1. Brand and image guidelines.
2. Upgrade website (WP) with new image guidelines. We use WP Divi Theme. Experience with Divi is a large plus!
3. Templates especially for blog post front pages, fonts and post structure, Pinterest Pins, Youtube video miniatures, and Ppt presentations.
4. Finally, website speed optimization. We shall be able to measure before/after, to check if this has been accomplished.

Note about the image and colors: This is a blog about personal finances and investment. The image shall convey confidence. We write in a young, fresh style, but the topic is very serious. Many of our customers and readers have serious trouble with debt, with bankruptcy, lack of liquidity, so it shall give them trust we know what we are talking about, without being boring. As a fact, most of our readers and customers (customers= people who buy 1 to 1 coaching sessions on personal finance) are women. This means the image should be appealing to women, despite not being feminine ( I hope this is not a contradiction).
The topics we talk (write) about in the blog are based on decades of experience. Lots of theory as well, but our experience with methods, investment types etc. We want our image to reflect experience, without looking old or oldfashioned.
I think the image should be like the one of a Fintech or online bank. It shall inspire trust and appear young.
Regarding the language: Currently, we just write in Spanish, however, we will start to have an English blog page in the first semester of next year.
Currently, most of our readers come from Latin America, USA and Spain.

I'll do a live work on another web address with divi theme for you. (You will be able to test it live)

If your logo doesn't look right on your current site, can you share it?

Alternative themes can be done very well, but this is not much of a problem you know divi theme so you will be easier management for you.

There are many factors related to performance speed, I will not share these details here, I will tell you there when I send sample input.

Also, if possible, can you share sample websites if you like?

  Hi Redbdsoft. It is VERY important for me to be able to modify details after the job is done. A website as ours is a dynamic creation; we adjust pages, entries, amont other elements on an monthly basis and want to keep doing so. Surely we will upgrade to a more professional theme, but for the time being, Divi is our option. I hope I understood your question right. Tx for your interest in our project.

  Hola Oscar. Gracias por tu interés. Inicialmente es sólo en español, aunque espero tener inglés también en el mediano plazo. Huaca es el nombe que los indígenas le dan a los tesoros que enterraban para esconder el oro etc de los conquistadores. Sobre los colores: Pensé que freelancer tenía un formato de brief, para guiar a los diseñadores en el proceso (como 99Designs). En todo caso, espero del diseñador seleccionado que, luego de algunas preguntas sobre el espíritu y lo que queremos comunicar, haga propuestas de los colores. Los colores que están hoy no están muy bien pensados ni consistentes.
