Resumen del concurso
In attachment there is a PDF file with a sketch.
We are looking for a device which has the maximum shape of Ø120mm x 30mm.
On the front there is a groove where a pin is sticking out of the casing.
On the backside there is a hand gear. By rotating the hand gear clockwise a spring motor inside the casing will be charged (loaded). It shouldn't be possible to turn the motor in the opposite direction. Once the spring motor is charged a small button on the backside can be pressed. This will start the oscillating movement of the pin. The frequency of the oscillation must be exactly one cycle per second (1Hz) and it mus run as constant as possibe. The oscillation will be done over a length of minimum 80mm. The force must push stronger upwards then downwards. The upwards force should be around 2N - 4N. The spring motor must run as long as possible. The max. possible amount of energy must be stored in the device.
Goal of the contest:
- Please make a sketch or CAD drawing where you show the details how such a device
should look like according to youre opinion.
- Show all the components of the device clearly
- As more details and accuracy as better
- Try to keep the amount of parts low
- Try to keep the mechanism simple as possible
- Keep in mind that the device must be easy to manufacture
The best solution will win the contest. If there are more then one good solution also the 2nd and 3rd has a fair chance to be awarded.
