A logo is desired for a brand called "SOMNOSCAN" (SOMNO means "sleep"), the company is going to be making sleep analysis on patients to diagnose, treat and cure sleep apnea and snoring problems.
SOMNOSCAN its part of a radiology center called "SCAN 3D" and its inside the SCAN 3D facilities that SOMNOSCAN its going to be operating.

Similarities between the SOMNOSCAN logo and the SCAN 3D logo, like using the same font or colors could be a good idea but its really not that important.

what is important is that the logo transmits: confidence, medical professionalism, cleanness, and sleep comfort.

additional info that could help:
-this company its located in mexico.
-the study made on the patient it not cheap.
-the radiology center its super high end with the latest technology.

Dear Contest Holder,
please stay away from generic logos
( http://www.gtgraphics.org/genericlogos.html ), overused and copied logos, to avoid future copyright issues.
please don't make any decisions based on free photoshop mockups.
A lot of designers here try to show their logo in the first place in 3d lettering so they can hide how it looks on a plain white background
