Contest description 1:
My business is called DIYKAI. I am a professional chef but my brand is about my life in general, so I don't need the emphasis of the design to be related to me being a chef. DIY stands for "Do it yourself" and "Kai" is my name. I am looking to have a logo made that represents my brand/business. Do it yourself is the motto of my branding. DIY and KAI can be two different formats as if DIY being bolder and Kai being smooth. The style in particular I have no detail. I just would like for it to be simple and neat yet and eye catcher. I was kind of considering having a silhouette of my profile and dreads (my type of hair).

Project description 2:
Hi my name is Kai and I would like you to please design me a logo that represents my brand “diykai.”

A little bit about me: I am a professional chef and the theme of my brand is my lifestyle which follows the motto “do it yourself.” DIY stands for do it yourself. The logo doesn’t necessarily have to have the them of food or any aspect of being a chef. I just aim to have a simple, clean, and unique logo to represent me well. DIY and KAI can be two different formats, for example DIY being bolder and Kai Being smooth. The style in particular I have no detail. I just would like for it to be simple and neat yet and eye catcher. I was also thinking of having my profile made into the silhouette for the logo, if it looks right. I have dreads (at type of hairstyle) so I would need the silhouette to capture that. If possible the silhouette could be used in a banner with diykai being the logo which is part of it. I am attaching an image of myself to give you an idea of how I look. Please don’t simply copy my picture and make it a silhouette. Be creative and even draw my silhouette if you want to go that route. Thank you you’re your time and participation!

I like the font for Kai in entries #4 and #15. I like the two toned hair on #10. I would like to see the face and hair from #10 situated on top of the "i" the way entry #2 looks. I prefer the horizontal type design. I also the placement of my face on entry #54 as an alternative option.
