Hi,

I starting a clothing company named Hermes Loves Lilith and i want to create a logo for it !

Now regarding the logo. You have to understand that this logo is very important to me!

It represents 3 things : 1. Me and my wife 2. Hermes and Lilith, 2 deities/symbols/concepts that i deeply respect 3. The idea was given to us (me &my wife), by our deceased best friend. She was an international exotic dancer and tantra teacher.

1.Visually and as a feeling it has to express: Love, Lust, Desire, Sexual Energy, Nature, Creation (6 concepts)

2. When you look at it, it has to give you a large boost of sexual energy in "good" , "bad" and "neutral" way (at once). Take it this way , imagine the sexual energy boost as a syringe containing a special liquid. The syringe is 100% full, but from that total ,20% is Love - 20% is Lust and the rest off the 60% is divided by the rest of the concepts (or similar). Practically when humans look at it, they mentally have to let their guard down or forget that they ever had one :))) :P Feel free to use subliminal's !

3.Very important: In a metaphorical way, Hermes and Liliht have to be completely EQUAL (logo)

4. Hermes (helping info) : Was/is the god of thieves,commerce, crossroads (like Hecate), second god of magic (after Hecate) , sport, speed, wind , god fertility (after Aphrodite) , messenger of the gods ," the voice" of Zeus , god of dreams (or similar) , the creator of letters, numbers and music instruments, guide of the dead (whit Hecate) and the only god (+ Hecate) allowed to travel between all world (Heaven, Earth, Underworld, Dreams), but more important he is/was a Trickster! A very different one , but a trickster indeed

5 . Lilith (helping info) : primordial goddess, First human and first woman created equally , in the same way/time as Adam, nature goddess, fertility goddess, she opposed and confronted Adam and God (whatever the name), shed defeated the archangels sent to get her, mother of dragons, mother of succubus and incubus species , probably's Eve twin sister. People pray to her to recover from traumas like slavery, sexual molestation, etc . At its origin, her name (Lilitu) means wind spirit! She is associated whit Demons, Dragons, Erotic, Lust, vampires,nature,sexual desire etc

6. From my point a view a good logo should be made from 1 or 3 parts (whit few exceptions). In our case, considering the length of the name, i think 3 parts should do the trick. But if you don agree, feel free to "protest". Maybe 1 part is better or maybe the "exception" kicks in

Helpful hints: 1. Add a mystic vibe to the Logo! At the end of the day they are both gods! 2. Add a pagan/nature / fantasy vibe to the logo (both are connected whit nature) 3. Pay more attention to Point 3 and 2 from the description...IT IS VERY IMPORTANT! 4. The company themes are - Fantasy, Gothic, Dark Erotic , Mythology, Steam Punk , Magic - 5. Symbols associated whit Hermes - Caduceus (His Staff), Speed, Magic , Intelligence, Trickster 6. No more corporate style 7. Symbols associated whit Lilith - Apples, Nature, Erotic , Dragons, Succubus, Snakes

When it comes to logos, from 10 i usually detest 6-7 off them and from the rest of 3-4, i only love one. This world is "invaded" by horrible logos. You know why? Because there are few individuals who can create a proper one. Its a craft ! Taking someones, ideas , vision and dreams and compress them in one singular point/symbol. That's incredibly hard!!
