MessageGurus is a company focused on helping clients manage their message-based (SMS, MMS, Messenger, etc...) marketing programs. Something that has clean typographic stye and includes the some sort of reference to a chat bubble (it could be an abstract relevance). I would also be ideal if he logo conveyed that we were across messaging channels. I attached an image that sort of suggests - It's important that the logo does not look too much like anyone messenger application. For instance, it would not be good to have a logo that looks exactly like the iMessage or Facebook messenger logo.

In terms of color, I would like to keep this edgy, so I'm thinking orange or purple. But I defer to you.
