<Technology Description>
This technology is a technology to achieve autonomous driving that matches the senses of the occupants. One of the problems that can be anticipated when an autonomous driving vehicle is following a vehicle in front of it is that the occupants may feel uncomfortable if the autonomous driving vehicle cannot accelerate at the appropriate time when the vehicle in front changes lanes. To solve this problem, when an indication of intent to change lanes emitted by the vehicle in front is detected, and furthermore, leaving of the vehicle in front to the adjacent lane is detected, this technology releases the suppression of acceleration that has been performed to make the autonomous driving vehicle follow the vehicle in front.
