I have a Windows applications that comprises of an EXE, and bu...bunch of DLL's and some Registry entries required. I would like to create a Portable EXE of this installation. That is to say, everything that is required to run that app, apart from the database of course, will be in this one exe. I have seen this done for apps like Dreamweaver, Corel and various other applications. I have proxmox VE (hypervisor) installed on my server with Windows 7 & ubuntu installed on the VM's. I am planing to package apps using either thinapp or cameyo. Currently i can open the VMs in the browser (with novnc). Instead of displaying the whole VM, I want the user to display only the packaged app of my choice in the browser to the end client. I am looking for a open source solution or something with less cost (which has a trial version).
