Soon after this incident, a soldier, Gene Barbosa (sp), shot and killed a teenager he thought was planting another bond in the hospital we were occupying. In a subsequent Court Marshal, he was found guilty of murder and was sentenced to 20 years in the Army Disciplinary prison in Leavenworth, KS. He was later exonerated and the record wiped.
