Looking for a coder/team/company to do potentially dozens of these jobs. The entity that completes this job to satisfaction, may be rewarded many more jobs. We are looking to do these jobs with ONE SOURCE instead of many. So if you do good, you'll get all of them.
This work involves several activex components, a 3rd party program, an already defined SQL2005 DB. The script can be either .asp or .vbs. (Doesn't really matter)
The actual work consists of this:
1) Aquire data.
Data will come from many different sources. There are 2 different types of connection methods. FTP and 3rd party program. FTP will likely have data in the form of tab delimited text files, while 3rd party program will likely output xml files.
2) Field map.
Data should be trimmed & cleaned (mostly for asthetics) and then data should be matched against the MSSQL DB I send to you. You then insert values into the database.
3) Images.
Images shall be easily processed to ensure uniformity, with accompanying DB row.
