(20%)\r\n\r\no Evaluate how the predominant models within our society would view children and young people with the additional need you selected.\r\n(65%)\r\n\r\nAdditional 15% marks are gained as follows:\r\no 5% structure and presentation\r\no 5% referencing\r\no 5% overall comments\r\n\r\nSpecific Assessment guidance:\r\nThe specific criteria for this assessment are as follows:\r\n1. This assessment is in the form of a written presentation and therefore should be written in the first person along the lines of ... \"Hello my name is ..... \", as if you were addressing an audience.\r\n2. The normal academic conventions for presentation and referencing still apply.\r\n\r\nGeneral Assessment guidance:\r\nYour assessment should follow the normal conventions, e.g. consisting of an introduction, main body, and conclusion. You must include a Reference Section but no Bibliography is required. All submission must include a completed Submission Sheet with your Student ID and page numbers indicated on each page.\r\nYour assessment is expected to be 1,000 words in length. It is acceptable that students will submit an assessment within + or - 10% of this word count. Considerably fewer words than 1,000 may indicate that your essay contains insufficient depth. Considerably more words than 1,000 may indicate a lack of the academic discipline in selecting the appropriate material whilst remaining conciseness in your presentation. In cases where a word limit has been grossly over stepped, in fairness to other students who have adhered to the word limit, tutors will reflect this in the marking of the assessment.\r\nYour assessment must be submitted using the Grade Center no later than the due date given.\r\nPlease contact your PAT as soon as possible should you be experiencing any specific difficulties, e.g. illness, which may impact upon your ability to meet this deadline.
