I need a CPA to assist with the proper filing of my LLC’s 1065 tax form. Before doing so, you must instruct us how to reclassify a handful of the previous transactions that have taken place from the business's account. We would like for these transactions to show as personal distributions instead of business expenses. This is the barrier preventing us from filling the 1065. The LLC’s account statements are quite simple. There have only been a few transactions per month, and therefore it will be easy to identify the transactions we must reclassify as personal distributions. In essence, this project is to ‘clean up the books’ and then file the taxes. I filed the proper extension before April 15th to allow for this to take place now.
