We (Ignite Engineers) are looking for 5 good bloggers who are preferred to be of Engineering background (engineering student or professional) from India. Non-engineers can also apply but should have enough passion to do research on engineering education related informational posts. Non-Indians who can post on global engineering issues are also welcomed. Posts will be related to information regarding engineering education, or engineer's life style. Posts related to social issues affecting engineering education, any experience in life which is related to engineering, or any interview of a prominent or very successful engineer (researcher, professor, entrepreneur, industry professional) are also welcomed.

Posts would be of 500 to 700 words blog post. $1 per post will be paid. Freelancers who do not satisfy with the price, please do not apply. Once you will be hired then further negotiation would not be accepted and in such case, it would be informed to Freelancer team. Only serious freelancers should apply.
Go through the requirements for this job post carefully. The freelancer would be expected to write on the uncommon but useful topic related to the engineering education and the niches explained above. It is expected from him/her to come up with new topic ideas on which he/she can write the blog post. Every post should contain some useful information. The freelancer may also be provided with the topic on which he/she has to write. Write down IgEn in the first line of your proposal otherwise the application would be rejected.
Posts getting copied from any source or spun material will be rejected. Some information in a post may match with existing information but it should not be copied line by line from the source. Each post will be checked through COPYSCAPE, so don't try to plagiarize.
Key Skills Required: Should have fair idea about engineering education, regarding Indian technical institutes and regarding corporate lifestyle. Should have good writing skill and large social network connections (Facebook, Twitter, Google plus, LinkedIn etc) where you can popularize the posts. A candidate who has prior writing experience (blog posting, member of editorial board of college magazine) would be preferred.
Each freelancer will have opportunity to write 5 posts in the initial stage. If the freelancer will complete the job (5 blog posts) successfully with enough information and with high popularity in social media then he/she will be assigned with new assignments in variety of topics and will be considered as a regular guest blogger of Ignite Engineers and an Author account for him/her will be created for regular posting to the blog.
Ignite Engineers will publish the posts along with your name as the author, but all these blog posts will be the proprietary of Ignite Engineers. Ignite Engineers will have all rights to post all these blog posts at [url removed, login to view] without giving any written credit to the freelancer.
Provide links of 3 best posts written by you if you have prior blog posting experience. Freshers can apply without these links also. But keep in mind proofs always increase the chance of getting the opportunity.
