Hi, The pricing is $20 for one hour's length of recording (inclusive of the $5 Freelancer fee). The total amount of work involved in transcribing one hour's length of recording is close to two and a half hours on average. So, what you will actually be paying is around $8 per hour of work. Hello, I would love to work on your project as I find it perfect for my skills and experience. I've done a lot of transcriptions both in my native language (conferences on literature or dialogues with contemporary writers – some were very bad audio recordings) and English (mostly well edited video recordings on civic responsibility, political issues, environmental protection). Also, I must say I've worked for several years as an English teacher (for IT students), a proofreader and as translator (English-Romanian, Romanian-English, French-Romanian). I am very patient and really good with details and responsible. I don't like to waste my time and that is why I try my best to reach the high standards I set for my work, at the first try.
