Word Processing Specialist/Project and Facility Coordinator The Minneapolis office of Ideas To Go, Inc., is looking for a full-time Word Processing Specialist. This person needs to be a highly organized multi-tasker to coordinate client projects and manage communication between internal departments and external partners. Critical to this role is the ability to type quickly and accurately during day-long client meetings—similar to onsite transcription services—as well as solving problems quickly, compile project content and information for client reports, and work alongside other project coordinators in other office locations. Overview • Responsible for capturing all notes and project content—in a way that keeps the flow of the meeting going without interruption • Responsible for the schedule, coordination and completion of projects • Effectively manage multiple, concurrent projects • Work closely with a variety of internal teams and end-customers to oversee project execution and implementation • Must be able to understand a project's logistical details to uncover and assess any issues—and solve for those quickly and efficiently • Must be able to communicate effectively at multiple levels—from team members to clients to external partners and recruiters • Must demonstrate excellent problem solving skills, self-motivation, leadership, and team orientation • This position also requires some administrative responsibilities (meeting prep and office supplies) along with overseeing the upkeep of the facility • Non-traditional work hours are common—including some evenings and/or weekend travel days • Must be proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft Word Duties and responsibilities: word processing • Synthesize project content simultaneous to meeting—must be able to type 80 correct WPM • Create reports for every client project • Responsible for word processing all content during client projects—typically ranging from 2-5 days—as well as synthesizing and proofreading all content output for reports.
