This is some original content creative writing of mine, I have more samples of different style if you would wish to see.
Mornings were by far the worst, he awoke with that deathly black gripping sensation in his chest, as if his heart was trying to be sucked out. Instinctively, his first thought was always; 'what a bad nightmare' but as he rolled over, wiping the rheum from his eyes and feeling the empty bed, it would hit him over and over. She was gone and she wasn't coming back. Like a sick and sinister joke, a broken record stuck on the same loop, as if all the butterflies had just died, the sensation was so deep and profound, so painful, that all words and sense of expression had lost it's appeal. All he could do was stare blankly into the wall, force a smile as the tears cascaded down forming oceans at his feet.
From within his wallowing walls, something clicked, a spark, a light shined down on him. Reminding him that everything he was living, he created it. He stood up letting the oceans flow their natural course and went to the bathroom, doing something he had feared for so many years. He stood infront of the mirror holding himself and apologized, apologized for having let himself become a victim, for having forgot to smile and feel the sun caressing his skin, touching him, reminding him he is far from alone.
From that moment forth, he took hold of the reins of his life with one phrase forever present. "You see what you believe"
