I have about 400 minutes of recorded audio that is divided into chapters as Audacity files that I need cleaned up. This would include adjusting pace, replacing clicks and mouth noises between words with room tone, and deleting out mistakes (the majority was punch record but there are some portions that weren't).
Important: I will be doing the mastering and do NOT want any filters, gates, or processing done to the audio (this includes declickers or noise gates), just simple pace and manual clean-up. I am not as concerned about mouth sounds within words, I can go back and record these mistakes myself, just focus on replacing mouth sounds and clicks with room tone. It is important that these be replaced with room tone and not with silence, as I will be running noise reduction later across the files. I posted this before and this note was not paid attention to so please be aware of this before you bid. Also, there are a couple of chapters where there might be a missing sentence, I would appreciate it if these or any mispronunciations would be noted so I can check them after.
I would prefer to have these completed in batches with the appropriate milestones created, we can discuss this later.
I am following these guidelines: [login to view URL]
Thus the spacing should be exactly 500ms (0.5 seconds) at the head of each file, and exactly 3.5 seconds at the tail. There should be exactly 2.5 seconds after the narrator announces the chapter (“chapter x”).
I attached a sample chapter.
