Convert .c console app to vb.net gui

Take code written in C for a small console based application (compiled successfully in Microsoft C++ VS6) and convert to VB.net GUI equivalent. this program takes input from the user and writes it's output to a DOS window as well as an option to write to a file...instead of the DOS window, I'd like the output to go to a textbox with the option to write to a file. Also there are certain functions/subs in the code that I would like to exercise individually with command buttons. This program would normally interface with some hardware to get feedback which would help validate the code, but this won't be possible on your end...I'd have to test it to validate it. Code doesn't have to be perfect, but I must be able to see the parallel logic.
