Audio utility in C

I want to feed a WAV file via the command line on a Linux box to a C utility that will output an mp3 file which is both slower and pitch-corrected. I want the audio to sound natural (not like a robot), and have not been able to achieve this using existing utilities (mplayer, ffmpeg), so seek a custom solution in C (since it is a production environment and therefore speed and low overhead are essential). All the input files have the same bitrate and other properties.

Hi, From the description I see that you'd like to perform some signal processing on the audio before encoding. Ffmpeg uses libmp3lame (but not by default) for mp3 encoding and that should produce satisfactory output Más
