Hi, I won't introduce myself because of all these guys bidding before me. But I made extensive research on your problem (couldn't get the project downloaded, link on that page you have was faulty) but I see this the following: - you're getting entire dataset with pictures to the server and then you'd like to put in gridview. - you want template to take care of this: this would be useful only if you base64 encode the images and embed them into html reponse witch is bad becase there's no way for browser to cache images for next time. Better solution would be: 1. get all fields from database except varbinary (image) data and bind it to grid (specify all columns instead of autogenerate them). 2. create column for picture which would be simple <img> element that would have source to server resource. 3. that server resource would get ID of the picture and generate filestream response (image). This way client could cache downloaded images and won't retireve it from server once cached. Of course, that resource would go to database for each row and retrieve binary picture data.
