Building an Arduino-based Gaming System Using Illumated LED Rotary Encoders

A research team in NUS Industrial Design is seeking appropriate candidates for the role of an embedded programmer who specializes in building an Arduino-based LED gaming system with rotary encoders. Two prototypes have been built using Arduino boards and Rotary Encoder Illuminated (RGB)([login to view URL]). We are now looking for an engineer to maintain the prototypes, and also to program a few led games (both single-player and dual-player modes included) to run on these two prototypes. The workload is not heavy, minor modifications on game codes are needed after user testings.
Tasks include:
- fixing the problems with the current two prototypes.
- programming a few LED games to run on the system according to given requirements.
- testing the board systems to ensure proper functioning.
- preparing game codes which are compatible with the software we are developing to control the system.
Requirements:
- have a strong knowledge in building custom-made Arduino control devices or experiences in building similar control devices.
- willing to make visits to our lab.
- able to meet and abide by tight deadlines as scheduled
- available for post-project support.
- have a pleasant and responsible attitude.
- available to start at the earliest.
