C# troubleshooting

Terrain scan data for a square kilometer come as a text file of x, y, and z coordinates. These coordinates are relative to a point thousands of kilometers out in space. I need to subtract a fixed number from each x and y coordinate, to bring the data to a local reference. (Z stays as it is.) Since the scans are at one meter spacing, at one meter intervals, there can be up to a million lines of text. (An abbreviated sample is attached.) The simplification can be done, using excel, but it is tedious. My C# does the job, but it fails long before it gets to a million lines. (The problem might simply be that I'm using C# express.)
I need somebody who knows what he or she is doing, to check and improve my code. (I am not a programmer; it is just a new hobby.) If we can fix the problem, I would like to develop the application even further.
