Student is required to reflect on their course of study throughout their first five weeks of study into Introduction to

International Business module. To complete this assessment, students are required to produce 3 different reading

materials (eg. Journals/articles/newspaper/magazine/etc) and answers the questions below accordingly. The 3

pieces of reading materials MUST be attached with the reflective portfolio during submission. Original cuttings of

the reading materials are strongly encouraged.

Students are expected to write 500 words of reflective portfolio that would address questions as follow:

1. Can you make any connections between what you have read with the subject you are studying? If yes, explain

the connection. If not, explain why you think you are unable to make out the connection.

2. What broader issues, for example, ethical, political or social, arise from this situation?

3. What other perspectives, theories or concepts could be applied to the situation?

4. Are the theories/concepts/models you have learnt from the topic you have chosen consistent with what you

have reviewed from the articles?

5. How do the theories/concepts/models differ as compared to what you have learnt from the topic you have

chosen? What do you think contributes to the discrepancy?

6. What conclusions can you derive from the reading material?

7. What have I learn from the module so far?

8. What have I found difficult/challenging about what I have learned from the lectures and tutorials so far?

9. How do you think you can improve yourself on this module in the near future.
