## Deliverables

# Specification

West Hampton Well-care Hospital Ltd is a provider of private medical care. Their main site in West London houses their Hospital and Administration operations. They also run two outpatient Clinics offering cosmetic surgery services in the affluent Hampshire and Wiltshire towns of Winchester and Salisbury.

The West London site contains two buildings linked by an ATM network.

- The large Hospital building is composed of four wings each of two wards. Each ward is in fact composed of a number of private rooms containing networked monitoring equipment, PCs offering IP services for clients, as well as PCs for staff. Each ward is defined as a workgroup. Each hospital wing houses a single router linking the wards to the Hospital FDDI backbone. A large drugs and patients database server must be accessible from all wards.

- The Administration building houses the Purchase, Admin and Management teams as well as a small doctors’ surgery.

Both the Winchester and Salisbury Clinics have the same network requirements. Each contains a small medical team and their equipment, as well as the local administration office.

The *Customer* and company database need to be accessed by all three sites.

The three sites are connected together by a regional WAN provider.
