This project seeks an expert person who can do the following tasks
1- working with airborne LiDAR to extract forest parameters as direct measurements or estimates (derived through regression modelling). Direct measurements include:
• Stand Density
• Tree Height
• Percent cover
• Crown Width
• Crown Length
Estimates include:
• Volume
• Biomass
• Basal Area
• DBH (diameter at breast height)
2- working with ALOS PALSAR RADAR data to extract biomass and tallest trees from L- band
