Hello, I'd like someone to design for us a device that can read, and write to, the following transponders: Texas Instruments DST+ NXP PCF7936/46/47/61 etc. Sokymat And several others, details to follow to successful bidder. A configurable reader/writer system to enable future modification by firmware if a new transponder type comes into use that needs to be written to. Maybe using a PIC processor? The device will have a USB-rs232 converter so that it can be sent commands from PC software that we will write. No screen, switches, or buttons/keys are needed on the device as it will be driven by the PC software that we will design. Initially, one device only will be made so can be in prototype form. Once it is working properly a new project will be created to have the PCB design and build for more units.

Hello! Experienced electronic engineers willing to help you. What is the first transponder support should we implement? What is minimum set of features to be implemented? Should we use ready module or create custom PCB with firmware? Let's use Atmel. Or at least Texas Instruments.

Dear Customer, It can be used the NXP recommendation PCF 7991 for base station. I can build you a proto which use a PIC and handle the PCF 7991 and communicate with your PC by RS232 . All the best ! Zoltan

i recently build a similar type of project that reads reads rfid card of the passing by person steal its info and then transmits same info at 9600 baud rate. behaving like a duplicate of that card. and is in use at a company for rfid card based attendance system hack.
