Digital picture frame hack(repost)

Hack and program a digital picture frame. I want essentially a digital clock that has an agenda programmed into it, and displays agenda items as they come up. Can't find commercial product, but from what I've found on the Internet, digital picture frames are fairly easy to hack? I want to be able to program a simple agenda for my daughter so that over the summer she can quickly look at the clock/picture frame on the wall and remember what she is supposed to be doing. She has a computer and all that, but I want something on the wall, that is always on. I found the following how-to hack: [url removed, login to view] This seems like an ideal system since it doesn't involve actually hacking the frame, but rather just creating appropriate PHP scripts. I am not set on this methodology, so feel free to suggest alternatives. But this does seem a rather simple way to go.

## Deliverables

1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No 3rd party components unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement).

2) If NOT using the Samsung SPF-83V method, then suggestion on what digital picture frame to use (under US$100) and any hardware needed. If the methodology will require internet connection, it must be WiFi. But if connection to computer is only required for initial programming & updates, then hardwire is ok. 3) If using the Samsung SPF-83V method: Scripts and MySql programming instructions so that I can upload to my GoDaddy hosting account... (I think that's how it's done???) 4) If using alternate picture frame and methodology: Detailed instructions on how coding and how to program the frame. 5) The frame should continually display as suggested in the attached Jpeg, with font sizes relative to what is suggested in the sample picture. Fonts and colors should be customizable, if possible. 6) The image/display should update every minute to display the current time. The week/date should update appropriately. The current agenda item should display for it's entire time period duration (if the "Clean room" is scheduled from 8:00am to 8:29am, then it should be displayed for that entire time period). The upcoming agenda item should display as shown. 7) I should be able to program at least an entire week's agenda. Agenda items should be able to be scheduled at least every 30 minutes. 8) The frame should display the contents of email messages, as described on the link. That is, I should be able to email a message to an email address and the php script should parse the message and display it to the frame as shown in the sample image. If a methodology other than PHP is used, that is fine, but the effect should be the same. 9) I have a WiFi router in my home, I have a computer running XP and another running Windows 7. I have a GoDaddy Linux web-hosting account. Methodology should be compatible with these systems.

## Platform

This depends on what you recommend to use as a digital picture frame. The hack outlined at: [url removed, login to view] uses a Samsung SPF-83V picture frame, and the methodology uses PHP scripts. But if you recommend a different picture frame, perhaps that can be programmed on-board rather than being fed an image created by a PHP on a web server, then that's fine too.
