This may only take a knowledgeable coder a few minutes.
Please read carefully......
I need a list, for both Windows XP and Vista, of locations where a program installation may temporarily store files.
Example: one program I was starting to install on my computer (XP) has placed some files in the following location:
C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\LOCALS~1\Temp
These files included the user license agreement and other notices, that were in a folder the install created at the above location. In this case these were html files.
Are there other likely locations?
There may not be many, but I need to know the most likely ones for both XP and Vista.
