We are looking for a Payroll/Accounting Clerk to join our team. Payroll or accounting experience is preferred, but not required. A positive "can-do" attitude and desire to learn IS REQUIRED. Candidate must have 1+ years experience processing payroll. ADP experience preferred. Person must also be well-organized with great attention to detail. Previous experience with union pay and fringe benefits would be a plus. Payroll Specialists will be responsible for a variety of duties, including, but not limited to: DESIRED SKILLS: A desire to learn/acquire basic accounting skills is required. Attention to detail Able to meet daily payroll deadlines Proficient in ten key Typing and filing Data entry Able to multi-task while staying organized on a daily basis Able to communicate with employees, vendors and customers in a positive manner QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge of and skill in using computer software, including MS Word, Excel, and computerized accounting systems. Modesty aside, i have developed a payroll system using excel, from payroll printing to check printing..entries from on a payroll data-base is automatically reflected on custom-fomatted check prints....

Also I’m proficient with managing payrolls and I’m able to integrate quick book with different applications successfully. I’ve the ability to create different types of accounting templates as per the requirements.
