I would need to see the actual spreadsheets to comment on my approach but let me say a couple things I would like to include. First, I always look for ways to automate the user’s experience. You should not have to add rows or change formulas in order to add a new report. I am a big believer in using VBA to present the user with buttons to execute these kinds of repetitive tasks. In this case I propose we create your invoice in Excel and have a button that automatically loads the values you need from the old sheet you receive into your template.
