As an applicant to work on this project, I am passionate about the written word. There are many reasons why I am best qualified for this role, ranging from my language and interpersonal skills to my volunteer and educational background.
For example, I have completed more than 20 writing contracts in the two months alone. Plus, as a current graduate student at the University of Denver studying International Human Rights, I regularly coordinate data-driven, human rights-related research projects in relevant courses such as, “Data Analysis for Development,” “International Political Economy,” and “Statistics for International Affairs.” I am also a freelance writer, having written more than 20 writing pieces for publication and 1 graphic design project in the past two months.
What’s more, as a current research assistant with the University of Denver, as well as an intern with the Center on Rights Development and the Human Trafficking Center, I have been able to further synthesize these data into blogs, essays, and articles for widespread publication, and I’ve recently been named communications liaison with Students for Africa.
In addition, as a former Lead Center Consultant at FedEx Office, I utilized vital skills such as listening, communicating, and understanding many others’ points-of-view across various social, economic, and political boundaries.
For all these reasons, I feel I have the skills, knowledge, passion, and experience needed to be an excellent candidate.
