Design a visually impressive accountant resume

Take an existing 3 page text based resume and turn it into a a visually impressive resume, with the goal of attracting a recruiters attention.
Requirements are:
- Create a resume for finance and accounting positions such as Chief Finance Officer, Finance Manager and Financial Controller. These are senior positions, with broad responsibilities, and strong competition to get an interview.
- The first page is to give a summary of myself and my contact details, skills and experience, with the following pages to provide more detail.
- Create a layout that is visually appealing, and has a Finance theme to it. It should have eye catching colours, however, still be readable if printed in black and white.I am thinking a format that looks like a financial management report, however other suggestions considered.
- Must be created in a format so that future content changes can be made by myself, eg, add additional career details, update addresses, referees, etc. Possible formats include word, powerpoint, publisher 2010, or your suggestion that can be easily edited with free/opensource tools
