Design materials for a school fete

We are the Parents Association of a small school based in Melbourne. We hold a school fete every year and have used the same look and feel to advertise the fete for the past several years. We now want to update the look and the feel. We are after a design that is: Fresh and bright Suggestive of a school fete, rides and fun /exciting day out for the family Youthful and animated, yet professional The key piece of advertising we require is 'Advertising Boards' which are put up in local suburbs (advertising boards are the same as real estate boards put outside houses which are being sold). We will also use the successful design in some internal materials and possibly community newspapers. Examples of advertising for other school fetes can be provided. Our school fete is a large undertaking for the Parents Association and all the people who run it are volunteers. Our fete is a fantastic day out for the whole family and our community and we want the advertising to convey this. I have not attached the existing materials as would prefer to keep the information/school confidential until I have selected a designer.
