The goal of the project is to create a RESPONSIVE WORDPRESS website, for a non-responsive website which currently has a menu, links and content similar to [login to view URL]
The new design must be an improvement on what the client currently has. The client wants a fresh,modern design, and the new website will be built entirely on WordPress. The freelancer will create a new original design and build a wordpress theme that will be used for the site. In addition, the freelancer will lift the content on the current website and recreate ALL the existing pages / sections on the new WORDPRESS website.
The freelancer will also upload and configure all the plugins needed to create all the interactive sections of the site, represented by the navigational menu of the site AND including the following;
1. A News section
2. Video Blog
3. Police Directory - this will be used to create a searchable directory of all police stations in the country
4. Photo Galleries
5. Blog Posts
6. User Registration will be required
7. Discussion Forums
8. Comments on blogs, video blog, and news section
9. Share Links
10. Facebook Like and FaceBook Share
11. Twitter Feeds on Website
To re-emphasize, the entire site must be responsive, and based on a new, original design.
Payments for this project will be broken into 4 milestones, which will be determined as follows;
1. 3 mockups with 3 different homepage designs will be sent to the client for feedback, corrections and approval of 1 design; milestones will only be released after all corrections are effected and the client is happy with a final selection - First Milestone
2. The selected design will be converted to a wordpress theme and applied to the wordpress site and a new homepage created, subject to the clients approval - Second Milestone
3. All plugins and all above listed functionality will be uploaded and configured - Third Milestone
4. All content on current website should be copied and recreated on the new WordPress website, effectively migrating all content from the current website to the new website - Final Milestone
FTP details to the client's wordpress installation will be provided after a mockup has been approved, as well as database access details as may be required. The client's logo will also be provided.
