Hi, this job is for a vary small indie game studio. The Studio is looking for well designed and coded Java game heads up display for a 2D game engine. The engine is still in the works so getting access to it may be a little bit difficult. So try to use all native Java code and it is also important to not use images as the engine may be running in an environment where access to the file system may be declined. The HUD should also include the following. -Health bar (one for the player and two for the AI green and red) -Mini Map -command line for debugging the game(note that is just a gui for the --command line the game engine already haves the code for the command line) -support for subtitles -crosshairs that follow the mouse -on right side of the screen an ability to add small rectangular boxes to hold text e.g. ammo, ally health. this will be done by the programmer not the player.
