Dear Employer, Your photos are too big for a home page loading 33 of them. The average size is 350k, if you multiply that by 33 photos, you get more than 11 Megabytes to download. I can convert all your photos to JPEG format, getting an average size of 80k per picture, for a little bit more than 2.5 Mb without loosing quality, resulting in 3 to 5 times faster loading of your home page. This would be a quick workaround to get your page to load faster. But I think that you may consider using an 'Infinite scrolling' kind of loading if the amount of photos in home page will keep growing over time. First and foremost your websites initial response time wastes 1.5 seconds just to respond that is before we even get into loading all of the JavaScript and images which consumes the majority of overall time needed to load your pages. I don't know your hosting situation but that would be the first thing to look at either upgrading or moving to a new host that understands the needs of web site owners without that everything else is, well kind of futile. (Yes, I do hosting $9 USD month) All of the other details needed to make this website function can be accomplished with a mix of the following: htaccess file additions for caching control, site caching control, building temp static pages to conserve on server round trips, minimize CSS, compression. I can do this if I have root access to the server as well or additional configs can be made by the admins. Without any hesitation though, I suggest changing rev slider to something more secure . That plugin is a catastrophe waiting to happen. Security wise its one of the worst plugins.
