I work for a U.S. non-profit charity with operations in Mexico. The name of our charity is Casa Caridad which translates to Charity House (Casa-House & Caridad-Charity). Our mission is to help alleviate the burdens of impoverished elderly, children and families living in Mexico. Currently we provide monthly food pantries and we run a toy and blanket drive during the holiday season.
Our roots go back to more than 40 years ago when our grandparents started buying blankets during the cold winter season for the homeless. The "gifts" were given from their home on the traditional holiday of the Three Magi. Today, we run our programs from this house- hence we chose the name Casa Caridad. To us it was significant to include our history into the name of our organization. All the participants and volunteers are an important part of this work and house.
In our logo we are looking for something clean, simple, inviting, memorable and creative. We have in mind that an image or silhouette of a house be included in the logo however we are open to something else. Our charity colors are seen in this draft of our charity website.
