I'm seeking at LEAST a total of 10 couture t-shirt designs (number of designs is dependant on cost) – preferably from individual designers. I prefer individual designers, to increase the chances of creativity, and uniqueness.
It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT and STRICTLY REQUIRED that your design be "Couture".
Style and design must be very hot, cool, UNIQUE, and EXCLUSIVE. Absolutely no "cookie-cutter", no clip-artish designs.
It is preferred and encouraged, but not an absolute requirement – that the design be inspired by some type of foreign culture. For example, a t-shirt, that when viewed, one can see or feel the inspiration of a particular country or culture, like England, Brazil, Pakistan, India, America, etc.
I'm open to any country/culture, i.e. Chili, Japan, Dominica Republic, Spain, America, England, Canada, Russia, Germany, France, India, (any of the 195 countries on our plant).
Important note. If (for example) you choose the country of France as the inspiration to drive your design – I'm not looking for a t-shirt where the designer SIMPLY put the Eiffel Towers on it...and then calls it "Inspired by France"…..WRONG!
So in other words, please be creative and don't attempt to show "inspiration" by slapping architectural buildings all over the shirt and calling it "INSPIRATION". This is lack of creativity (in my opinion).
To give further guidance into what I would consider "INSPIRATION", let's take the British culture (country of England) for example…I can see something with the word "MASSIVE" strategically placed on the shirt (of course in addition to some artistic graphics). Or let's take New York for another example…I can see a silhouette of a city line, with Godzilla overstepping the building structures, or better yet – the famous "Coney Island" amusement park in Brooklyn New York, being terrorized by Godzilla, but done with a sexy, "couture" approach. (I'm not a designer, so my examples could be way off)
Let's talk about the target audience for your T-shirt design or designs.
This T-shirt is for a man that pays $550 for his GUCCI Jeans, $750 for his Hermes or 45RPM Jeans. This is a man that WILL NOT buy a t-shirt, if it cost less than $100. His t-shirt must say and feel like it's expensive. This is a man that wants to wear a t-shirt that, not everyone else has, it's rare, classic, vintage, couture, and EYE-CATCHING. This is a t-shirt that will be worn on stage at the Grammy Awards – and everyone in the audience and sitting at home watching the Grammy's will wonder "wow, where did he get that shirt?"
So the shirt must be classy and couture, sexy and exotic, and most importantly....EYE CATCHING.
For ideas of "couture" designs I've attached t-shirt designs (there is a 2MB attachment limitation so I could only upload very few) contained in a zip file, that I would consider "couture", addionally you can obtain couture concepts by visiting designer's websites such as:
GUCCI
DSquared2
Prada
Dolce & Gabbana
CHANEL
Dior
Armani
VERSACE
Chloé
Louis Vuitton
Please DO NOT bid if you will offer up cheesy, cheap, cookie-cutter, simple concepts. This is NOT that type of party!
YOU MUST SUBMIT RELEVANT samples of YOUR work (and not the work of others). If you place a bid and you do not include a RELEVANT sample – your bid WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
I would also request that you DO NOT send me tons of links to visit, to see your Portfolio. Please keep in mind, you are not the only Service Provider who may bid and if every Service Provider, takes the "lazy" bid approach, and just "Cut & Paste" some standard text, pointing me to a handful of links – I do not have the time to chase everyone's link. I will only look at bids that have uploaded RELAVENT samples for me to "quickly" review.
If you're serious, take the time to upload RELAVENT samples. This streamlines the selection process tremendously.
I'm willing to pay you want you deserve for you time and effort – you should be willing to take your time and bid seriously.
I will own full rights to the completed work.
Regarding:
COLOR and PRINT PROCESS - I will have to defer to you as the designer for color and print process techniques. There are no restrictions/limitations, except it must be good.
Type and style I would think can be derived from the list of designers I referenced above.
I felt the best way to give guidance was via the reference to the list of designers, also clearly indicated who the target audience is, for this t-shirt. The fact that he's a "Gucci" jean wearing man, says it all.
Thank You for bidding.
