We are looking for a designer to assist with the creation of a logo for a new home studio pilates business. This logo will be used in print material as well as online platforms.
The business is called Home Stretch Pilates and Fitness Studio. The boutique studio will be a quiet and peaceful environment where clients can practice pilates with professional instructors without the hassle of busy gyms and strict membership plans.
We are looking for a simple logo design that captures the essence of Home Stretch Pilates and Fitness Studio, and echoes the aforementioned ideas. We would like it to look professional, but not ultra slick or commercial looking. Rather, something that has an element of the handmade or a degree of quirkiness would be fantastic. A simple, neutral colour palette is preferable - perhaps limited just to black and greys.
Pilates is about strength, flexibility, core, muscle balance, alignment and flow, so keep this in mind when thinking about the feel of the logo. Our first idea was that the logo could take its inspiration from a pilates pose, stretch or movement - see attached document for examples of poses and our first attempt at a line drawing based on a pose.
We are looking for a stand alone logo that doesn't necessarily incorporate the text 'Home Stretch Pilates and Fitness Studio'. Instead of having the text within the logo, we would prefer to have the title in a san serif font underneath or to the side of the logo.
