create cartoons from pictures

I want to create cartoons from certain pictures. These will be very basic cartoons. The idea is to mimic a coloring book. This will have no commercial release at all. Create a simple sample from the picture attached. Total will be about 5 images. You will help me select which ones are best. (Again: SIMPLE cartoon. Like for a kids book.)
