Android app - Order a Taxi

This project involves in building an taxi app, for the client and for the driver (2 separate distributions) The taxi is not a replica but somehow similar to already existing apps if you search the Google Play Store for "taxi". The basic idea is that an user can order a cab, by seeing on the map which cab is available. The wireframes are still a draft version (we are still updating it), some visual elements are not consistent among different screens but largely it describes what we want to achive. **Please read below and download the documentation.** ## Deliverables **Requirements:** - native Android app - good programming skills - code hosted on our SVN repo, where you need to commit your changes - code needs to be commented in English - clear thinking and experience in the server - client communications - Google Maps (or open for discussion for alternatives) - Development time: ~30 days - Aprox. project start: 10.07.2012 **Android versions:** - 2.2 Froyo - 2.3.x Gingerbread - 3.x.x Honeycomb - 4.0.x Ice Cream Sandwich Multilingual: English, Romanian Minimum resolution: 240 x 320 pixels We are open to suggestions regarding the techincal implementation. Also we will take care of the server implementation, we just need to discuss which protocols to use. If everything goes well and your skills are good, this project will be a long term one.
