Android search capabilities inside app temporary table

This is simple and easy project if you are good with Android, Eclipse, java etc. So I have the app made, no need for you to build that, all I need is a class or a piece of code you help me implement in my app so the user can search in a temporary table and display the results on a list view. How my app works: My app gets a json string from a website that has the database and table to build a temporary table inside my app every time the app is open, from this table I'm able to choose certain items to be display at a time in a list view, but I don't have the time to implement (make or deal with the try error right now) a search tool to display only items that the user wants or is looking for from the table. I'll prefer this search box to be like in a dialog alert. So if you're interested in getting this project and a good review, please don't send me just a "I can do it", send me a sample project plain and simple don't care on colors or text sizes. If you get awarded the project I'll send you my app so you can see how it works than you'll need to help me implement it on my app.... I need to know how it works. Thanks
