Javascript hanging in Internet Explorer and Safari (ok in all other browsers) - fix requred

I have a simple webpage with a countdown delivery timer installed
(Ie order in the next XX hours, XX minutes, XX seconds for delivery on Tuesday)
This is functioning correctly in all browsers except Internet Explorer and Safari - where the page hangs, upon investigation it appears to be getting caught in a loop when attempting to calculate the next delivery date, so therefore I assume its a relatively simple fix but unfortunately I'm not a JavaScript expert.
