We are looking for Solr / Lucene experts. Job Description: We want to replace our current search engine with Solr. At this time our immediate goal is for new the engine to completely match existing functionality. We would need: 1) Review data and define schemes 2) Define sharding / load balancing strategy 3) Review current queries and configure Solr to support them 4) Configure functionalities like faceting, more like this, etc. 5) Write thin Java adopter to support seamless engine replacement as well as support some of the existing functionality which might not be available out of the box (e,g, federated searches). 6) Tune Solr to meet business SLAs 7) Deploy Solr to production environment.
