Looking for experienced Asterisk developers only who have experience with fax to email programming from CLI. Please not not offer to install a pre made fax system. Looking for 1 specific bash script and asterisk 'extension' modification to send faxes from email
We currently have Asterisk 1.8 on an 64 bit installed server.
SpanDSP is currently working and receives faxes and send to email (this works very well).
Looking to add fax out capabilities to an existing machine with spanDSP already working.
Requirements:
via Bash script / cron scripts:
1.) Every X minutes script should check IMAP mail server for email
2.) Script checks a text file if the email exists in text file (if does not exist unauthorized reply sent via email)
3.) if email is authorized in list, then can send fax out using name and number display parameters from text tile which will show as fax id and call number for that email/user.
4.) will pass that parameters to asterisk for faxing
5.) reply confirmation of failed delivery or success will be sent back to user via email.
Deliverables:
- bash scripts
- extensions to add to [url removed, login to view]
Dev will have to program on their own server. Will provide to us to install to test.
