The purpose is to create a hosted, virtual Linux desktop image/template that works perfectly with MS Access. - The hosting shall be set up at a service provider - The cheaper the better. - The image/template shall be possible to instantiate to more virtual machines/desktops at the service provider. Instructions how to do that shall be delivered. - Access can be of no earlier version than 2007. - And maybe that is the best version since it has a gold rating at [login to view URL] (This test was performed on Ubuntu version 14.10.) However, later versions may be preferred if it works perfectly. - The desktop shall be possible to be run with RDP, VNC or other good and secure solution from any other PC. Preferably, the connection shall be possible to do without any installation on the PC. - The complete solution shall be thoroughly tested. Additional skills to the listed above (these where not possible to select): Wine, RDP, VNC Besides, the contractor shall have the ability to communicate well in English.
