I need a quick help with setting up https on my AWS EC2 server.
We have VPC
Web Instance (behind load balancer) (Running Apache)
SSL : From AWS certification manager
DNS : We are using Route 53
we have our main domain works on http, but for https we are getting following error:
Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.
Reason: You're speaking plain HTTP to an SSL-enabled server port.
Instead use the HTTPS scheme to access this URL, please.
Apache/2.4.7 (Ubuntu) Server at [url removed, login to view] Port 443
We need to 2 help:
1) Fix above error so https can work.
2) Forward all requests on port 80 to port 443
We need to get fix this in next 12 hrs so please available immidiately.

Hi I would suggest you to do a SSL offloading this will help you to render any request for https from ELB to outside world and internal would be serving from 80. Let me know your views. Jyotir
